Jody Wilson
Jody Wilson was re-elected commissioner in March 2007 to a third term by the First Nations Summit. Raised in the Comox Valley, British Columbia, she is a member of the We Wai Kai First Nation of the Laich-Kwil-Tach K'omoks Council of Chiefs. Prior to this, Ms. Wilson worked for nine months as an advisor at the BC Treaty Commission and two years as a Provincial Crown Prosecutor. Jody holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia (1999) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from the University of Victoria (1996). Ms. Wilson has been an active member of the BC Bar since 2000.
